GENERAL CONSTRUCTION |

As a general contractor, American has been building multifamily and mixed use neighborhoods and other facilities since 1989. Most of our work has been negotiated general construction where we have participated as a team member during pre-construction. Other work has included design/build and construction management. Above are pictures of some of our work. Please see the Architecture section of this brochure for information about our Pre-Value Engineered® architecture, which we can deliver as design only or on a design/build basis. The skills that American has developed over the last 20 years as a general contractor are also available for construction management on a cafeteria basis.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT |
|
American has been in the business of providing general construction services for twenty years on projects of all sizes. Through the years, we have provided our clients construction management services to supplement Owner project teams. Most of these construction management services are the same services we provide internally for our general construction projects, where we have been involved from concept through turnover of construction. The services we offer on a cafeteria basis include: full preconstruction services, contract administration, estimating, purchasing, scheduling, plan reviews, and quality control inspection. We don’t list value engineering as a separate service, as all of our work is Pre-value Engineered®.

ARCHITECTURE |
|
The results of all our architectural work is Pre-Value Engineered®. Our Pre-Value Engineered architecture is achieved with our understanding of cost and knowledge of what works and what doesn't, gained over twenty years of building multifamily and mixed use neighborhoods, synergistically combined with the design talents of our in-house architects. All of our design work is done in 3D using AutoCAD Revit. Where we are responsible for design and construction we are in the unique position of being able to provide guaranteed construction pricing at the preliminary design stage. When our clients have chosen another Architect, we can use our talents in a design assist role to support their efforts.
